Presentation rules

Summaries will be received in a single extended abstract format (max. 3 pp.). These may be submitted and presented in Spanish, Portuguese or English in PDF format.

This congress aims to provide a meeting free of any type of violence and/or discrimination towards both the people and the participating institutions. Abstracts sent should not contain any offensive language, gender bias, or discrimination based on nationality, ethnic origin, and sexual, political or religious orientation. We suggest consulting guidelines for non-sexist use of language or contact congremet@cenamet.org.ar if you have any further questions.

Presentation guidelines

The presentations can be in the following formats:

Oral Presentations

** Rules for oral presentations, on-site mode:

The oral presentations in the on-site mode will have a 10-minutes duration for the exposition and 5 minutes for questions and answers (that is, 15 minutes in total). The presentation slides must be in PDF format and must be sent through the following form up to 24 hours before the start of the corresponding session: https://forms.gle/fcqixLnFv7jF1Lt36. The format of the slides should preferably be "widescreen" (16:9).

** Rules for oral presentations in virtual mode:

Oral presentations in virtual mode will be synchronous through the Zoom platform. The mode of access to the Zoom platform will be informed in a timely manner. The presentations will have a duration of 10 minutes for the exposition and 5 minutes for questions and answers (that is, 15 minutes in total). The person giving the presentation will need to share the slides through the device they use to connect to the meeting. The format of the slides should preferably be "widescreen" (16:9).
The authors who wish, can prepare and share the link to a pre-recorded video of the presentation. It will be screened in the event in case the person in charge of the presentation cannot connect to the session through the Zoom platform. Pre-recorded videos can be shared through platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive or Dropbox, and the link must be shared through the following form up to 24 hours before the start of the corresponding session: https://forms.gle/fcqixLnFv7jF1Lt36 .

Poster Presentations

** Rules for poster preparation, on-site mode:

Maximum size of 80 cm (width) x 120 cm (height). The person responsible for presenting the work must be present next to the poster during the assigned poster session.

** Rules for the poster preparation in virtual mode:

The posters in virtual mode will consist of a short video (maximum duration of 3 minutes) in which the main results of the work can be highlighted. It must be prepared by the authors and shared with the congress organizers through a platform such as YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive or Dropbox (among others). The video format should preferably be "widescreen" (16:9). Once the video is uploaded, the link must be informed through the following form: https://forms.gle/fcqixLnFv7jF1Lt36. The videos will be screened during the corresponding session and linked through the CONGREMET website.
